Solar Symphony is a unique work by Harto, an abstract image inscribed on Bitcoin as a one-of-one. It is a still image in portrait format, 1000 by 1250 pixels, filled with overlapping fields of colour inside a woven grid.
The inscription’s own text reads the work as a story told in colour: pigments overlap and mix, and fluid, organic shapes meet angular, geometric structures. The meeting of those two languages is meant to suggest harmony in an abstract landscape.
The text also leaves the reading open: the work is offered as a starting point for the viewer’s own interpretation and memory.
The inscription does not document how the image was made, and the artist has not published a process note for it. What the file shows is a finished image whose colour is built in layers, with transparent overlaps, against a structure of lines and cells.
The work is a single JPEG inscription of about 143 KB, with the title, artist, year and description stored in its on-chain metadata. It is a child of a parent inscription, also titled Solar Symphony, which records its provenance.
The work itself was inscribed on 5 May 2026, and its metadata gives the year of the work as 2023.
