In the artist’s words, the work «represents a pixel, the minimum artistic representation of the network». Each token is one pixel, and the description adds a condition: the purchase of all the pixels would contribute to the creation of one megapixel.
The work is therefore unfinished by design. It is complete only if a million separate owners each hold one point of the whole.
