Compas is a collection of 10,000 pixel characters on Ethereum. Each is drawn on a small grid against a flat colour field, with its own headwear, body, mouth and extras. Their metadata describes them as «lightweight onchain pollinator companions for the Exquisite Hive».

Exquisite is a collection of on-chain agents. Compas is its counterpart: a companion for each agent and a smaller character to collect on its own.
The pairing is read-only. A holder can bind a Compa to an Exquisite agent as a companion, and every Compa has a public passport page. The work treats a character both as an image and as an identity that can be looked up.
Every Compa is generated from its token number. The image is a small SVG, 128 by 128 units, built from layered parts; the colours of each piece are defined as variables in the file itself. OpenSea lists the metadata as fully on-chain.
The same renderer serves the gallery on the Exquisite site, where the first 240 can be browsed in a single wall.
Pixel art as SVG, generated and stored on Ethereum, ERC-721. Because the drawing is vector code, it scales cleanly to any size and keeps its hard edges.
Each Compa also exposes a machine-readable agent card, so the character can be read by software as well as seen.
