Intro

La Floristería is a collaboration between Harto, Paiman and Taya, released for Sant Jordi 2026. It is a generative artwork on Ethereum in which each flower is a separate token, painted in layers of colour and glitch, with one line of a poem set over it.

The mint opened on 5 May and has closed, with a final supply of 3,507.

Concept

On Sant Jordi, roses and books change hands. The work asks what is meant by that gesture, and answers through the poem «What We Choose to Give», written by Taya. Its lines appear across the collection: «A rose and a book are not casual things», «A rose is not born heavy. It becomes later», «They replace what we can’t quite manage to say directly».

The flowers are the visible part of the poem, and the poem is what remains when the flowers go.

Process

Each token is generated from its own hash, which sets the palette, the background and the verse that appears over it. The metadata records these as traits: palette, background, life stage and verse.

A fixed number of flowers is chosen by public randomness. Drand round 6181526 selected 24 of them; token IDs 1 to 6 were reserved for the treasury, making thirty in total. Those thirty age through three stages, Wilting, Dying and finally Herbarium, where only black, white and the verse are left. Every other flower keeps its form and enters what the project calls Second Life.

Medium

Generative art on Ethereum, rendered in the browser from each token’s hash and shown through the token’s animation URL. The collection is cross-chain: owners of the thirty Herbarium flowers can claim a Bitcoin Taproot Ordinals artwork by verifying their Ethereum wallet and giving a Bitcoin address, and Harto delivers it by hand.

The project borrows its ideas of swarming and release from Ordinals collections.
